There is a direct correlation between the number of gastric bypasses performed and recent increase of the number of tummy tucks and thigh lifts associated with massive patient weight loss.

• There were 347,500 breast augmentations performed, making it the most popular surgical procedure.
• Breast augmentation was followed by nose reshaping, eyelid surgery and abdominoplasty, respectively.
• The top minimally invasive procedure was Botox injection, with over 4.6 million treatments undertaken.
• As for reconstructive procedures, there were 3.9 million tumor removals performed - making it the most popular amongst that category by a landslide margin.
