Liposuction, in particular, appeared high atop this list. However, that’s not what is notable about this observation. It seems that more and more patients are migrating away from the idea that liposuction need be performed on the abdominal area.

The latest cosmetic surgery trends show patients opting for liposuction to minimize fat deposits on various problem areas around their body, including the upper knee, the lower leg, along the back, around the bra line and under the arm.

This raises a good point as far as marketing liposuction is concerned. The best way to make sure they know what is available to them is to post updated procedure listings and descriptions on your Web site.

All too often, I browse through cosmetic surgery Web sites where liposuction is relegated to the lesser areas of the Web copy hierarchy - neighboring a short description on tummy tucks or abdominoplasty. Liposuction, because of its surgical versatility, needs to be moved to the forefront of your marketing materials, informing the patient about its wide-ranging possibilities.
